This vehicle is developed on the platform of Dodge Caliber, Jeep, and Compass, and it’s a compact crossover vehicle, which is designed with a standard all-wheel drive and optional front-wheel drive. Both engines are mated to a standard 5-speed manual or continuously variable automatic transmission. The engine is designed with front-wheel drive configuration with an optional remote start mechanism.



The 2011 Jeep Compass has standard side curtain airbags, standard hill-start assistance with manual transmission, standard electronic stability system with electronic roll mitigation, standard traction control, standard antilock braking system, standard smart key, which immobilizes the engine in a theft attempt.
