Trim Levels and Engine

The 2012 version of Subaru Legacy will be introduced in the form of medium sized sedan body style. It will be produced in six different models- 3.0 R Limited, 2.5 GT spec B, 2.5 GT Limited, 2.5i Limited, 2.5i Special Edition, and 2.5i.




The 2.5i Limited, 2.5i Special Edition, and 2.5i models are motorized by a 2.5 liter four-cylinder engine, which is designed to churn out 169 pound feet of torque and 175 horsepower. All these models are connected to a 5 speed manual transmission. Both GT spec B and GT Limited models are designed with a turbocharged 2.5 liter four cylinder engine for the development of 241 pound-feet of torque and 243 horsepower. The GT model is connected to a five speed manual transmission, whereas the GT spec B model has a six speed manual transmission. The 3.0 R Limited model works with a five speed automatic transmission.

Integrated Equipment’s

Volvo V70, Oldsmobile Alero, and Audi A4 are the main competitors of 2012 Subaru Legacy. The Legacy 2.5i model is fully loaded with air conditioning, 17 inch tires, a music system with a MP3/ CD player, a tilt and telescopic steering wheel, keyless entry, input jack, powered accessories, and a trip computer.




The 2.5i Special Edition is featured with a power driver seat and moon roof. 2012 Legacy 2.5i Limited has leather seats, heated front seats, exterior mirrors, a CD player on the dashboard, and a dual zone climate control system with a music system. The Legacy 2.5 GT Limited has a limited slip rear differential system, bolstered sport seats, larger brakes, and a Momo steering wheel with three spokes. Legacy is packed with side airbags, anti lock disc brakes, and curtain side airbags for rear seats.
